The CMCP801 Probe Holder is designed for the external mounting of proximity probes as described and recommended by API-670. External (through the case) mounting allows for the easy removal, inspection, and adjustment of the proximity probe as opposed to internal mounting where the bearing cap or cover needs to be removed prior to inspection.
All machined parts of the CMCP801 Probe Holder are made of 316 Stainless Steel. The outlet body and extension are cast aluminum. The outlet body is provided with four (4) 3/4" NPT Hubs and is rated for Class 1 and 2, Division A, B, C and D. As the Probe Holder uses 3/4" NPT entry into the machine case. Standoff's, if required, can easily be constructed using readily available 3/4" pipe and pipe fittings.
Each probe Holder is provided with the following:
- (1) Outlet Body w/Dome Lid
- (3) Close up Plugs 3/4" NPT
- (1) Probe Adapter Union 3/4" NPT
- (1) Probe Holder (Stinger)
- (1) Jam Nut 1-1/4" Wrench Size
- (1) Parker Seal
- (1) Flat washer
