STM-9 Stethoscope (Contact) Module:

 This specialized module utilizes a solid metal rod acting as an acoustic waveguide to capture subsurface ultrasound generated internally within pipes, bearing housings, and steam traps. When stimulated by mechanical ultrasound, the waveguide transfers the signal directly to a high-sensitivity piezoelectric transducer housed within the module. The unit is fully shielded to block stray radio frequency (RF) interference that can affect electronic reception and measurement accuracy. Equipped with low-noise amplification, it delivers a crisp, clear, and highly intelligible signal for precise diagnostic analysis.
